Costco Wholesale

Costco Warehouse is great, and I enjoy shopping there. However, I would appreciate it if Costco expanded its in-store payment options to accept all major credit cards or provided better alternatives for customers who don't have a Visa card with them. Customers often drive long distances to shop at Costco, and it can be disappointing to reach the checkout only to find they can't complete their purchase because they don't have the accepted payment method. Having more flexible payment options or an alternative solution in the warehouse would greatly improve the customer experience. 2 days delivery becomes 4-5 day delivery.

I would like to recognize Willie for his exceptional kindness and customer service. Without being asked, he noticed that I had bags of groceries and a case of water and voluntarily helped carry them down two flights of stairs. He was friendly, professional, and never expected or asked for anything in return. His willingness to go above and beyond made a difficult task much easier and left a lasting positive impression. Costco Gaithersburg is fortunate to have an employee like Willie representing its commitment to outstanding customer service.

I visited the Costco Optical department in Gaithersburg Costco and would like to share feedback on my experience. While the overall process and waiting time were somewhat disorganized, Ms. Reynalyn stood out for her exceptional service. She demonstrated consistently high energy, a vibrant and positive attitude, and great patience while assisting multiple customers. She listened carefully to concerns and provided clear explanations, maintaining the same positive engagement throughout. What impressed me most was her willingness to go the extra mile by retrieving additional frame options from storage that were not on display, significantly improving the selection experience. Her dedication, consistency, and customer-first approach are truly commendable and deserve recognition.

It's one of the best warehouse shops we've ever visited. The products are varied, organized, and almost always on stock. As for other Costco shops, it offers discounts on popular products so that you can enjoy them at a lower price. It also has international goods for special occasions. The building is virtually clean and customer-friendly, while the services (such as checkout) run smoothly during busy days. The parking features a garage for plenty of parking spaces, though the addition of elevators would be nicer. Overall, this shop has a lot of great benefits to enjoy, and it's great for frequent visits.

Worst customer service ever. I had a team member named Emanuel trying to intimidate me simply because he didn’t want to do his job. The situation almost became physically aggressive. Today around 6:24 PM, I purchased a large outdoor storage unit. Before purchasing, I asked multiple staff members if someone would be able to help load the item into my U-Haul truck since it was very heavy and bulky. I was reassured several times that someone would help me and that I just needed to ask outside. I went outside and asked for help about 2–3 different times, and each time I was told they were “busy.” When I asked Emanuel for assistance, he responded with, “Don’t you have a boyfriend? Ask somebody else.” I explained that I already had, and he told me to “just wait for another one.” After waiting over 30 minutes, I finally had to ask for the assistant manager. When I confronted Emanuel about his comments and behavior, he got defensive, came into my face and my friend’s face, and repeatedly said, “Did I say that?” in an aggressive and intimidating way. I completely understand that employees can be busy, but proper communication and professionalism could have avoided this entire situation
